HM Treasury cost cap pause lifted

The Government has provided an update on the employer cost cap process that applies to all public service pension schemes. The update confirms that the pause will be lifted and the 2016 valuation process completed, taking into account the cost of addressing the discrimination identified in the McCloud judgment. The SAB (E&W) are considering whether to lift the pause on the separate SAB cost cap process.
