The National Pensions Officer Group (NPOG) is made up of elected representatives from each of regional pension officer groups, representative members from government or local government bodies and various ad hoc members.
It is a collaborative forum for LGPS administering authorities to work together on common operational and regulatory issues. It supports the development of consistent national solutions, provides a collective voice when engaging with key stakeholders, and offers a route to escalate concerns to the LGA and government departments to help shape guidance, policy and regulatory developments.
