The employer role workshop is aimed at employers offering the LGPS in England and Wales. You do not need a working knowledge of the LGPS to attend the course; however, some LGPS experience is preferable.

Pensions qualifications

We currently offer two pensions qualifications; Level 2 Award in Pensions Essentials (delivered by Howden) and Level 3 Certification in LGPS Administration (delivered by the LGA).

Our Governance training is aimed at councillors and others serving on pension committees and local pension boards as well as officers with a governance role.
