NI Database temporarily taken offline following critical PHP security vulnerability

Following the announcement from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) regarding a critical security vulnerability affecting certain versions of PHP, we have been working with our hosting partner and website developers to assess our websites and implement the necessary security updates.

As part of this process, we have been advised that updating the NI Database will take several days to complete and have therefore made the decision to temporarily isolate and disconnect the NI Database.

The NI Database will remain offline while these essential security updates are carried out and thoroughly tested. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will restore access as soon as it is safe to do so.
