Introduction
Welcome to the practitioners' section of the LGPC website. This section of the website provides updated copies of the regulations that govern local government pensions. The regulations are presented in a time-line, so that users can examine sets of regulations as at each amending statutory instrument. Use of this resource is free and will be of particular benefit to practitioners in administering authority Pension Sections, pension liaison officers in employing authorities, appointed persons for stage 1 and stage 2 dispute resolution, and solicitors, actuaries and union officers with an involvement in the LGPS. This section of the website has been produced with input from Wandsworth Borough Council and from the Department for Communities and Local Government.
